Sigma Kappa provides valuable leadership development opportunities to its members. As an organization Sigma Kappa encourages our members to be involved in at least one extracurricular activity during their collegiate experience. Because of this focus on involvement outside of Sigma Kappa, our sisters are able to engage with the campus and community in ways that are important to them.

Some of our major events are our Violet Ball Formal, Semi-Formal, Gator Hunt Date Night, Parents Weekend, Mommy-Daughter Day, Daddy-Daughter Day, The Walk to End Alzheimer's, Stars and Strips Dinner, and Sigma Karnival! We look forward to all these major events throughout each semester!

Our first philanthropy even in the Fall of 2017 is our Stars and Stripes Dinner on Tuesday September 12th from 7-8pm.

Our biggest philanthropy event in the fall is the Walk to End Alzheimer's on Saturday, October 21st. Our chapter gets to help run the Walk along with the Alzheimer's Association.
